Billie (named, I'm told, after Billie Holliday..!) was another of my favourites at the Birmingham Adoption Centre. I've always been drawn towards the oldies, we weren't really sure exactly how old Billie was, as she came to us as a stray, but I believe she was approaching 20, if not older.
She was homed only weeks before she died, but she ended her days in a comfortable home, rest in peace, my darling :-)
